ASUS has announced the P527 PDA phone during a tradeshow in Thailand. Likely to succeed the P526, it features a similar candybar form factor.

Fortunately, French site Mobinaute has more details on the specs of the P527. Powered by a 200MHz TI OMAP processor and Windows Mobile 6 Professional, it will come with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, a QVGA display, 64MB RAM and 128MB ROM, integrated GPS (SiRFStar III chipset), Wi-Fi (b/g presumably), Bluetooth 2.0, an FM tuner and a microSD slot. It will come bundled with GPS Destinator version 6.

The P527 will land in a number of European countries in October. Pricing information has not been disclosed yet.
