Digging through the first public version of the BlackBerry OS 4.2.1.x destined for Cingular, The Boy Genius found reference to the yet-to-be-announced BlackBerry 8820 in the device.xml file. It appears to confirm earlier rumours that it will come with a GPRS/WLAN radio stack for Wi-Fi access. It also appears that the 8820 will not come with a camera.
There is still no word on when (or if) RIM will announce the BlackBerry 8820.
