If you want to take your iPod down to the pool to listen to a few tunes with your friends, the Ego Waterproof Sound Case from a company called Pacific is for you. The case floats and comes complete with a pair of waterproof stereo speakers. It promises big sound with expansive bass. It also comes with a membrane over the clickwheel so that you can control you iPod, rubber bumper guards for case and iPod protection (in case the pool party gets rowdy), and a shock absorbing compartment for your iPod (nanos, minis, 4G and 5G iPods supported). Four AA batteries should deliver about 30 hours of continuous music and videos.
Atlantic will officially launch the EGO at next week’s CES.
