Canadian wireless usage lagging rest of developed world

Just how bad is the state of wireless communications in Canada? The Globe & Mail reports that the average Canadian cellphone bill is one third-more than it is in the US. The news is even more depressing when compared to European rates.

It does not get better when we look at adoption rates. In Canada, it hovers at about 56 percent (compared to about 90 percent in the rest of the developed world). Even adoption rates in Turkey are higher than in Canada!
