E-TEN Glofiish X800

E-TEN has been busy and, along with its redesigned web site for the Glofiish line, it has formally announced the X600 and begun shipping the X800.

The Glofiish X600 is the successor to the X500 and X500+. As expected, it is powered by a 400MHz Samsung processor and Windows Mobile 6. It will also feature quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, 64MB RAM and 128MB ROM, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, built-in GPS using the SiRFStar III GPS chipset, a 2MP camera, and a microSD expansion slot. It comes in a stylish purple and black casing.

Meanwhile, the Glofiish X800 has finally begun to ship. E-TEN’s next-generation Glofiish X800 Pocket PC Phone has begun shipping to channel partners around the globe. The X800 is E-TEN’s first handset to support 3.5G HSDPA connectivity for high-speed downloads delivering new and improved online services including faster more enjoyable surfing and email, streaming audio and video downloads, VoIP and instant messaging, and video calling.

Unveiled at CeBIT earlier this year, the X800 is powered by a 500MHz Samsung processor and Windows Mobile 6 Professional. It comes with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band HSDPA/UMTS connectivity, a 2.8-inch VGA display, 64MB RAM and 256MB ROM, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, built-in GPS using the SiRFStar III GPS chipset, a back-facing 2MP camera and a front-facing VGA camera, and a microSD expansion slot.
