FCC clears HTC Herald for T-Mobile

T-Mobile Wing

The FCC has cleared the HTC P4350 (codename Herald), paving the way for T-Mobile to offer it to its customers as the T-Mobile Wing and sending off the MDA to retirement.

The T-Mobile Wing is a Windows Mobile 6 (according to FCC documents) device that improves on its predecessor with a thinner form factor and both a spring-loaded QWERTY keyboard and a 2MP camera. It also packs a 200MHz processor, 64MB RAM and 128MB ROM, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, a 2.8-inch QVGA display, Bluetooth 2.0, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi and a microSD slot.

Pictures show the device in two colour schemes: Blue and purple or an all-black version. The Wing is also expected to come with the My Faves feature that T-Mobile offers.
