A reliable source has told Italian website SoloPalmari that E-TEN is about to add the X500+ to its Glofiish family. The X500+ will have the same form factor as the X500 but will add a 2.8-inch VGA display and Windows Mobile 6. Unlike the X500, its casing will be black.
Other specifications match up with those of the X500. The X500+ will be powered by a 400MHz Samsung processor and will come with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support, 64MB RAM and 128MB ROM, integrated GPS using the SiRFStar III chipset, a 2MP camera, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, and FM tuner, and a microSD slot.
A formal announcement from E-TEN is expected next month.
