9to5Mac is reporting that its sources have let it know that Apple has some new laptops coming. 9to5Mac has landed a number of scoops (including the new 3G iPod nano) recently so this one bears watching.
It is not immediately clear if these are an update to the MacBook lineup or perhaps the rumoured subnotebooks (perhaps even with an SSD). But if rumours are true, expect these to come with either a black or silver aluminium enclosure, a thinner display bezel, keyboards similar to the new Bluetooth Keyboard and lighter than current MacBooks.
There is apparently something strange about the touchpad and 9to5Mac promises to reveal more details later. Could we see a multi-touch touchpad (a la iPhone or iPod touch)?
Could we see this new laptop launch with the release of Leopard next month?
