New Nokia N800 firmware adds Skype support

Nokia has released a new firmware upgrade for the N800 Internet Tablet. One of the most requested features is finally available and users will now be able to use Skype to make calls.

Among the other enhancements and bug fixes in Version 4.2007.26-8 are an upgrade to the Adobe Flash 9 browser plug-in, memory card support has been increased to 8GB (SD cards above 2GB must be SDHC compliant), improved battery life, touch screen sensitiveness improvements, and more.

You can also upgrade your N800 using your Windows PC by using the Internet Tablet Upgrade Wizard.
