Nokia E61i and Nokia E65l land in US

Nokia E65

Unveiled back in February at the 3GSM World Congress, Nokia has finally announced that the Nokia E65 and Nokia E61i (replacing the to the Nokia E61/Nokia E62) business-centric mobile phones are available in the US. Neither is offered by any carrier yet so you will need to purchase them directly from Nokia (and without the subsidies that come with a carrier service plan) for about US$400.

Both phones run the Symbian 9.1 operating system and come with up to 50 MB user memory, microSD slots, 2-megapixel cameras and integrated 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The E65 is a slider quad-band GSM phone with a 2.2-inch screen. The E61i features a full QWERTY keyboard, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (but no support for UMTS/HSDPA bands in the US), and a 2.8-inch QVGA screen.

The Nokia E90 is expected later in the third quarter of 2007.

Neither the Nokia E65 or the E61i are currently listed on the Nokia Canada site.
