Did you know that Pac-Man was based on a real animal? Although now extinct, a complete skeleton of this creature was recently unearthed by paleontologists. The skull has a diameter of 65 centimeters – this must have been a fearsome carnivore!
Okay, not quite. Instead, what you see here is a model built by artist Le Gentil Garçon and paleontologist François Escuilié. The model is based on the skeletal structure of human and various predatory animals.
