If you were unable to attend the Photo Marketing Association (PMA) Annual Show in Las Vegas, Digital Photography Review has an excellent summary of what digital cameras and accessories were announced. PMA is the photography industry’s most important annual event, it’s the place where the new year’s hottest digital cameras and related products are announced.
Over the space of about 3 days, some 110 products were announced by major manufacturers. And yet there is little to get excited about; for the most part the products announced where minor upgrades or restyled versions of last year’s cameras, and the almost total lack of innovation is disappointing, though hardly unsurprising.
