SecuBox: Encryption for your Pocket PC

SecuBox

Aiko Solutions has announced SecuBox 1.2, the latest version of its data protection software for Windows Mobile PDAs. SecuBox creates a virtual encrypted storage on Pocket PC, which looks like a usual storage to the user. All information written to this encrypted storage is automatically encrypted on the fly using industry standard AES 256-bit encryption. It encrypts all sensitive information keeping it secure and protected, even in such catastrophic cases when the PDA is lost or stolen. SecuBox uses an AES 256-bit encryption algorithm to encrypt data, allows for the backup of the encryption key, on-the-fly encryption, secure storage deletion so that deleted files cannot be recovered by recovery tools, and more.

The latest version adds command line support to automate repetitive tasks. A set of command line options gives you control over SecuBox’s actions. It also adds close integration with Windows Mobile File Explorer and fixes a number of bugs.

SecuBox 1.2 is available for US$39.95 from our affiliate Clickapps. A trial version is also available.
