Spb Software House has released an update for its Spb Mobile Shell application which replaces the Windows Mobile interface with one that improves upon it and adds features that most would expect from a modern PDA phone. Designed with phone users in mind, it will work equally well for PDAs without phone capabilities.
Version 1.5 adds a new professional Now Screen that shows more information (including a simple phone profile, next alarm and graphic calendar), Spb menu customization, an API to allow third party developers to integrate other applications into the Spb Menu and Now Screen and an improved device locking mechanism that also displays the most important information so that you don’t have to unlock your device to get to it.
