Ars Technica is reporting that Apple could start adding television content to its iTunes Canada store as early as today. An official announcement is expected to follow on Wednesday.
There will be limited content from providers such as CBC, CTV and a few US shows (don’t expect anything from NBC though) at first. More shows should then appear in the upcoming weeks. Selected NHL games may also be appear.
There is no word on pricing but we should know fairly soon if Ars Technica is right.
To date, TV content has only been offered on iTunes in the United States and United Kingdom.
