BMW is teasing visitors to its web site with a new gadget (or gadgets) that will be released in mid-January. The Flash trailer (if I can call it that) promises a device that will play MP3s, DVDs and CDs and come with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, voice recognition and a colour LCD. It also promises to be able to recharge itself, come with high processor performance and low energy consumption. The trailer ends with 3 different device pictures (downloadable wallpapers).
Is it a new car accessory, a BMW-branded electronic gadget, or something else entirely? I’m going to guess that it’s the first, something possibly related to BMW’s Hand, Head Input research into hand and head gestures to control various in-car functions.
