Gadgetorama was unavailable for some time earlier today. My apologies to all who could not get their news fix as a result.
To date, Our host has been spectacularly unhelpful at providing a reason for the outage. I first logged a ticket but it did not appear to be acknowledged for an hour so I called in. All I could gather (after some phone problems that got me disconnected) was that the server was undergoing a ‘disk check’ but that it would be up in a few minutes. Fortunately, it was but we were still down for at least 2 hours.
My apologies to all. And now to catch up with the news…
