Much as happened in the U.S. recently, the Apple iPhone 3G is headed to a Canadian retailer. Best Buy Mobile Canada announced that it will begin to offer the Apple iPhone 3G at its new Best Buy Mobile stores starting on October 1st.
“The iPhone is a revolutionary product that has changed the way people think about their mobile phone and we are pleased to be able to help Canadians get their hands on one of the hottest new products introduced in Canada this year,” said Phil Johnston, Director, Wireless Solutions, Best Buy Canada Ltd. “We want Canadians to know that they can count on Best Buy Mobile for the latest and greatest in mobile technology.”
Best Buy Mobile Canada will sell the 8GB model for CAD$199 and the 16GB model for CAD$299 with a three-year service contract from either Rogers or Fido.
