As expected, Asus announced that its Eee will gain some new models in 2008. Models with 7-, 8- and 8.9-inch screens with resolution running at 1024×600 will be released this year. These will also be come preloaded with Windows XP and be WiMAX-ready. Now you just have to hope that WiMAX gets deployed near you sooner than later!
For those with a fashion sense, a variety of colours will also be offered.
Pricing was not revealed but the new Eee PCs are expected in the second quarter.
