CDMA version of HTC Touch Pro gets FCC approval

HTC Touch Pro

The North American version of the HTC Touch Pro is one step closer now that the FCC has approved a CDMA version of the device. This bodes well (but does not guarantee) that the HTC Touch Pro will land in North America. Then again, according to PhoneArena, both Sprint and Verizon in the U.S. will offer not only the HTC Touch Pro but also the HTC Touch Diamond. In Canada, both Bell Mobility and Telus could also end up offering it.

A closer look shows that the Raph800 (as the model is called in the documents) will support EV-DO on both the 850 and 1900MHz bands.
