Gizmodo sources are reporting that the Dell Inspiron 910 netbook will go on sale as early as August 22nd. Along with the release date, Gizmodo has gotten their hands on some internal documentation that confirms many of the details leaked so far.

The latest specs match up almost perfectly to the ones revealed by Brazilian site odontopalm.com only days ago. The Dell Inspiron 910 will be powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor with an Intel 945GSE chipset with a choice of Windows XP SP2 or Ubuntu 8.04. It will come with an 8.9-inch TrueLife display (resolution of 1024 x 600), 512MB or 1GB RAM options, 4GB/8GB/16GB SSD options, 802.11g/n Wi-Fi, optional Bluetooth, 3 USB ports, an SDHC card slot, options for VGA or 1.3MP webcams, and an option for 3G connectivity.

There are no details on pricing but rumours suggest that the base model with 512MB RAM, a 4G SSD and Ubuntu will sell for about USD$299.
