Back at CES 2008, Haier showed off its new dual-SIM Pocket PC phone. Unlike some models that only allow you to use one SIM at a time despite carrying two SIM slots, the Haier HG-99 can receive phone calls to both phone numbers simultaneously.
Powered by Windows Mobile 6, the HG-99 also comes with GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, Bluetooth, a 2MP camera and a microSD expansion slot. Hopefully, we will get more detailed specifications soon.
Haier is apparently in talks with US carriers to bring the HG-99 to the United States. It’s not clear what other markets could see the Haier HG-99. Price and release dates are also not yet available.
