Nokia dispels Windows Mobile rumours

At the Mobile World Congress, Nokia CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo dispelled rumours that Nokia was in talks with Microsoft about developing a Windows Mobile device. “We don’t have plans to do Windows in mobile at the moment,” Kallasvuo said.

On the other hand, Kallasvuo did confirm that Nokia would unveil its first touchscreen mobile phone. Details on the new device are slim but it will run a new version of the S60 platform that will be known as S60 Touch. Hopefuly we will get more details about the new OS over the next few days.
