The Sony Ericsson is one step closer to a release in the U.S. now that it has been cleared by the FCC.
The documentation confirms that the U.S. version, the X1a, will support the 850/1900/2100MHz HSPA bands, suggesting that it could be headed to AT&T.
There is still no word from Sony Ericsson about North American pricing and availability. For us Canadians though, the user guide confirms that the X1 complies with RSS-210 of Industry Canada, suggesting that we could see it here too.
