HTC has released a new firmware for the Telus S640. Firmware version 3.00.661.11 adds EVDO Rev. A capability, improves overall device functionality and stability and adds new shortcuts for easy access to TELUS mobile email and Pocket Express applications.
Unlike, the upgrade for the S620 released last month, this firmware does not include an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1.
Note: The update will replace the current ROM image and will erase partnership and all user data and programs on your device. Be sure to back everything up before you start.
