MoDaCo have landed details about a new HTC device that is sure to impress more than one. The HTC Touch HD (if that is to be its name) appears to be much worthier successor to the HTC Touch than the HTC Opal could ever be. Best of all, it could be out before Christmas!
The leaked specifications reveal that the HTC Touch HD will be powered by a 528MHz Qualcomm 7201A processor and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional with TouchFLO 3D. It will come with HSDPA connectivity (no word on what bands), a WVGA display (480 by 800), 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM (with another 32MB on the processor), GPS, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, a 5MP camera (no flash), a 3.5mm headset jack located at the top, a microSD card slot, and a 1350mAh battery. It appears to be roughly the same size as the Apple iPhone
