Buried in a The Globe & Mail article called “10 reasons to buy Rogers” is a very interesting rumour. According to Scotia Capital analyst John Henderson, Telus is expected to have an exclusive on RIM’s upcoming Thunder touchscreen phone:
“On the other hand, Telus is expected to launch (exclusively) a new touch screen BlackBerry this fall, which could steal some of the Bold’s Thunder, albeit temporarily.”
It’s not clear if the exclusivity would extend to a period of time or to the lifetime of the device though.
