The Palm Pre is headed to O2 in the UK, according to a report in The Guardian. If so, we could finally see the Palm Pre go head-to-head with the Apple iPhone as O2 is already the exclusive carrier for that device.
O2 UK has apparently scored an exclusive deal after facing stiff competition from Vodafone and Orange. It should be available in time for the holiday season. An earlier launch appears to have been ruled out due to stock availability issues.
Palm confirmed a GSM version of the Palm Pre only days after it announced the CDMA version.
