BlackBerry Onyx specifications and pictures

The BlackBerry Onyx is an upcoming 3G BlackBerry device that appears to be headed to AT&T (with a UMA-enabled version codenamed Driftwood going to T-Mobile). CrackBerry.com landed some pictures and The Boy Genius Report has added a few details about the specifications.

The Onyx is apparently going to be part of the 96xx series. Expect it to come with 3G connectivity, a QWERTY thumb keyboard, an optical trackpad (although the pictures show a trackball), a display offering 480 by 360 resolution, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a 3.2MP camera, The device should feature 8900 styling and be smaller the Bold.

Specific release dates are not known but should fall in the September timeframe for T-Mobile.
