Dual-SIM Philips Xenium X710 headed to Russia

Philips Xenium X710

Philips is the latest to introduce a dual-SIM phone. While most features won’t make this a cutting edge phone, the ability to simultaneously support two network operators will appeal to many.

The Philips Xenium X710 comes with tri-band (900/1800/1900MHz) GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 20MB of internal storage, Bluetooth with A2DP, a 3MP auto-focus camera, an FM radio, a microSD expansion slot (supporting up to 8GB cards), and an impressive 1900mAh battery. It has a candybar form factor that measures 113.6 by 49.1 by 16.9 millimeters. It weighs 114 grams without the battery.

At this point, it looks like it’s headed to Russia but exactly when is not known yet. There is also no word on what other countries could see it and what it will sell for.
