FCC approval for Dell Mini 3iX with AT&T 3G bands

Lending credence to rumours that AT&T would soon offer a Dell Android-powered smartphone, the FCC has approved the Dell Mini 3iX. FCC documents reveal that it comes with support for the 850 and 1900MHz UMTS/HSDPA bands which are supported by AT&T.

The Dell Mini 3iX is expected to come with a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, A-GPS, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi (unlike the Chinese version), Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, a 3MP camera with auto-focus and flash, and a microSD card slot.

Details on specific availability and pricing have not been revealed.
