A leaked Google Android 2.1 ROM (first revealed in pictures of an HTC Hero running it with an updated Sense UI) has revealed the codenames of some upcoming HTC devices. Some of the device names are familiar but others are completely new.
The codenames are:
Bahamas, Bravo, DesireC, Dragon, Dream, Espresso, Halo, HeroCT, HeroC, Hero, Huangshan, Incredible, Legend, Liberty, Memphis, Paradise, PassionC, Passion, Sapphire, Supersonic
Seeing the Dragon codename lends credence to earlier rumours that an Android-powered HTC HD2 variant was headed to Verizon.
I suspect that some of these codenames also represent different device variants (eg, CDMA and GSM versions) but it still looks like HTC will have a full slate of Android devices for next year.
