Verizon has sent out Droid-related press invitations for October 28th. At the event, Motorola is widely expected to unveil the Motorola Droid, apparently the “most desirable phone of 2009”.
Meanwhile, a second piece of Droid marketing shows that there will be another Droid event or milestone on November 9th. I’m guessing that Verizon will announce the Droid on the 28th and that it will be available as of November 9th.
The Motorola Droid will be Verizon’s first Android-powered smartphone. But Verizon is expected to launch at least one more, the Motorola Calgary, by the end of the year.
