Digitimes is reporting that the next generation of the iPhone will sport a 3.2MP camera. The order for the CMOS image sensor (CIS) has apparently been awarded to OmniVision.
The first two iPhone generations come with a 2MP camera.
The article also reveals that OmniVision has secured an order for 5MP CIS for another Apple product which is scheduled to launch later in the year.
