Palm Centro lands at Bell Mobility

As reported last week, Palm announced yesterday that the Palm Centro is now available in Canada from Bell Mobility It has been available from Rogers for a while now.

“Centro is the best example of a user-friendly smartphone that’s both fun and easy to use,” said Brodie Keast, senior vice president of marketing for Palm, Inc. “Centro’s sleek and lightweight design makes it perfect for first-time smartphone users who want voice, text, email, web, contact and calendar capabilities all wrapped into one compact device.”

The Centro is powered by the PalmOS. It comes with a QWERTY keyboard, EV-DO connectivity, 128 MB dedicated user storage, a 320 x 320 display, a 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth 1.2, a microSD slot (supporting cards up to 4GB), and a 1150mAh battery. It is available in Midnight Black.

Bell is offering the Palm Centro for CA$49.95 with a three-year service voice and data plan (with a minimum of CA$45 per month), CA$249.95 with a two-year one, CA$349.95 with a one-year contract, or CA$399.95 without one.
