Microsoft has released Windows Marketplace for Mobile for Windows Mobile 6.0 and Windows Mobile 6.1 phones. As with the version already available for Windows Mobile 6.5, it will allow you to search, browse and buy mobile applications either from your mobile device or from your PC.
In the U.S., you will need to provide your mobile phone number to receive a download link via text message. Users in other countries should visit mp.windowsphone.com using their phone to download the application.
If your phone is running Windows Mobile 6.5, you do not need to download the Markeplace application as it is already installed on your device.
