Best Buy Canada today announced a free mobile shopping app for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. It will allow customers to browse and search the Best Buy catalogue as well as see specific product pages. The app also lets customers place orders using the mobile checkout process and find stores closest to them using geo-location.
The Best Buy iPhone App comes with features like customer ratings and reviews, social sharing (via Twitter, Facebook and email), product browsing and searching, favourites, access to on sale items, and order submission.
The Best Buy iPhone App is available for free from the Apple App Store.
Update: If you prefer to do your shopping at Future Shop, they have a similar iPhone and iPod touch application available. Considering that the two companies share the same parent company, this is not a huge surprise.
