It’s quite amazing how far things have come since I started covering mobile gadgets in 2005. The first official story was about leaked pictures of the then unreleased Windows Mobile 5.0. Since then, a year later, Palm unveiled its Palm Treo 700w (with Windows Mobile 5.0). Since then on this day in history, we’ve seen double-sided LCD panels capable of displaying different images, Sony BMG abandoned DRM, and a hybrid SSD/HD netbook from MSI.
