HTC has released hotfixes for the Sprint versions of the Touch Diamond and Touch Pro to address an SMS bug that incorrectly dated messages with the year 2016.
The hotfix will resolve the issue causing incoming SMS messages to display the incorrect year, and it will correct the incorrect year on SMS messages that were received prior to installing this hotfix.
Note: This is a hotfix. It will need to be reinstalled if you hard reset your device.
