WinRumors.com is reporting that the expected launch of Angry Birds for Windows Phone 7 has been delayed. Rather than launching on May 25th as announced at MIX11, the game will now apparently launch on June 29th. According to a Microsoft spokesperson: “The shift in timing of Angry Birds as the final title in the Must Have Games lineup was a decision made to ensure we provide the best possible gaming experience on Windows Phone,” said a Microsoft spokesperson.
When it does arrive in the Marketplace, it is expected to sell for US$2.99 and come with 195 levels.
Update:The delay has been confirmed with the publication of the full Must Have Games program for Windows Phone.
