Motorola expects to launch both the Motorola ATRIX 4G and XOOM tablet next month. Confirmation came from Motorola Mobility CEO Sanjay Jha during the company’s latest earnings analyst call. Jha did that there was still a chance that the XOOM tablet launch could slip into March.
Rumours suggest that the ATRIX will launch in Canada with Bell in March There is no word on Canadian launch dates for the XOOM yet.
Jha also reaffirmed plans to launch the LTE Motorola DROID BIONIC and LTE upgrade for the XOOM will launch by the end of Q2.
As part of its earnings release, Motorola announced that it had shipped 37.3 million handsets, including 13.7 million smartphones in 2010.
