HP had promised a software update for its webOS-powered HP TouchPad tablet before the end of July. While HP missed its own deadline, it appears that it did not miss it by much. Richard Kerris, HP’s Vice-President of Worldwide Developer Relations for webOS, today tweeted that the roll out begins today: “It’s in the pipeline… starting to roll out this morning.”
There is no official word from HP yet so this could be a small initial deployment to make sure that there are no issues before a larger push begins. A full change log is not available yet either.
