HP webOS CONNECT coming to Toronto

Hewlett-Packard

Hewlett-Packard is reaching out to Toronto-based developers with the upcoming webOS CONNECT Toronto event. Taking place on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, the event will allow you to meet Richard Kerris, VP of Worldwide webOS Developer Relations as well as members of the webOS team, listen to some featured talks by webOS developers, and meet other local members of the webOS community.

webOS CONNECT is a fun and informal community gathering of web developers, designers and mobile expressionists. You are invited to participate in a night of awareness, inspiration, education and access to webOS experts to jumpstart your development on a world-class platform based entirely on web standards. In the first hour of the event, guests are invited to hear about the vision and value of the webOS worldwide developer relations program. Some of our local community all stars will take the stage to share their thoughts about the mobile landscape and webOS case studies in 10 minute lightning talks.

webOS CONNECT Toronto will take place at the Spoke Club (Gallery Room) at 600 King Street West in Toronto from 18:00 to 22:00.

The event is free but pre-registration is required.
