Rumours this past weekend that Microsoft had called Build 7710 of Windows Phone Mango the final gold build were quickly dashed by Bill Cox, Microsoft’s Director of Communications for the Windows Phone Division. The confirmation that Mango has yet to hit the RTM stage came via Twitter:
For those following the rumor mill, @windowsphone Mango has not yet hit RTM (Release To Manufacturing). We’re excited about the progress… stay tuned.
Recent rumours suggested that the first Windows Phone Mango device, a water-resistant Fujitsu smartphone, could be out as early as the end of August.
