Mobilicity today announced that is dropping its North American data roaming rates by 70 percent. It will now charge CA$1.50 per megabyte while roaming in Canada and the US. It point out that this makes its rates the “country’s most affordable and competitive everyday roaming rates without the roaming plan fees commonly charged by incumbent carriers.”
Mobilicity also offers a flat 20-cent-a-minute roaming rate for North American calls.
