Remember the rather impressive specifications for the Sony Ericsson LT28at? We may now have a name to go with those. A recent trademark filing was made with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for the name “Xperia Ion.” It reveals little else except to indicate that it pertains to “mobile phones.”
It is also possible that another Sony Ericsson device (perhaps the Xperia Nozomi) will become the Xperia Ion. If so, what could the Xperia LT28at end up being named?
Sony Ericsson has a keynote planned for CES 2012 on January 9th. All could be revealed then.
