OtterBox today announced that its Defender case is now available for the Motorola XOOM. Like other Defender cases, it offers a high level of protection while still allowing full interaction with the tablet. It features a durable silicone skin outer layer and an inner layer consisting of a hi-impact polycarbonate shell and memory foam. A removable polycarbonate screen shield protects the display and can also act as a display stand.
Note that it does not protect against water damage as the microphones, sensors, camera and flash remain exposed for full functionality.
