Sony Ericsson Canada today provided an update on the Android 2.3 update for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. Unfortunately, it’s somewhat disappointing news:

Sony Ericsson first announced plans to offer an Android 2.3 upgrade in March, reversing an earlier decision not to offer upgrades beyond Android 2.1. Rogers then announced its support for the upgrade earlier this month.
