Verizon Wireless today announced that it will launch the HTC DROID Incredible 2 by HTC on April 28th.
With its sleek, all-black design, DROID Incredible 2 by HTC combines functionality and speed into one stylish package. DROID Incredible 2 by HTC is a global-ready Android smartphone, allowing customers to enjoy wireless voice and data service in more than 200 countries, with more than 125 with 3G speeds.
The successor to the original DROID Incredible comes with the following specifications:
- Processor: 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon
- Operating system: Google Android 2.2 with HTC Sense
- Display: 4-inch Super-LCD touchscreen
- Rear-facing camera: 8.0MP with dual LED flash and 720p HD video capture
- Front-facing camera: 1.3MP
- Other: 3G Mobile Hotspot support for up to 5 devices
Verizon will offer the DROID Incredible 2 for US$199.99 with a two-year contract.
