Vizio, a company better known for its televisions, appears to be the latest player set to enter the tablet market. Vizio chief sales officer Randy Waynick was seen holding a tablet device in a Rose Bowl ad that aired during the half-time break. Waynick touted his company’s goal to deliver content on “any of their great new products, from anywhere.”
The ad does not reveal any details about specifications, pricing and availability. With CES just around the corner, it is likely that we will find out at least some of this information sooner than later.
